By JOSH COOKLEMORE”The whole point of this whole project is that it’s a really fun, fun, funny, and exciting experience,” said co-star Todrick Hall.
“And the fact that it comes from a group of really funny people, and the fact they’re not trying to make it a hit, is just so exciting.”
Hoop, who played Cleo in “Happy Gilmore,” said she was honored to work with the show’s cast.
“I am extremely proud of the work we did on this,” she said.
“It was so fun, and I think it’s going to be a really good experience for all of us.
I’m just so excited to be working with these people.
I feel like we’re on the same page, and it’s such a good team.”
Hall added that Hoop said she’s excited to have been chosen to play Cleo, which she called a role she had wanted to play since she was a little girl.
“It’s such an honor to be in this role and be in a role that will always have me looking up to Cleo,” Hoop added.
“But the reason I’m excited about this is that I think this show is really about how we can embrace the beauty of diversity and love who we are.
So I just really feel that, because of the show, I will be able to look at myself and see the world as I am.
I will get a little more joy out of my life.”
